Lilienthalstraße

Lilienthalstraße · Berlin

“The Lilienthalstraße (post code 10965) is a street on the border between the Berlin districts Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg (district Kreuzberg) and the district Neukölln. The western side of the street (even house numbers) belongs to Kreuzberg, the eastern (odd house numbers) to Neukölln.

The road starts at the crossing Südstern / Hasenheide / Körtestraße and leads over the Züllichauer road to the Columbiadamm at the former Tempelhof airport.

It is named since January 7, 1928 after the aviation pioneer Otto Lilienthal (1848-1896).” (source)
